Andrea grew up in Bardstown, Kentucky, and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in social work and family studies. She has two kids and has lived in Crestwood since 2014. Andrea appreciates being part of the healthcare team in her community. She joined Derby City Eye Care in 2021 and enjoys getting to know the patients and their families. Dr. Fowler is grateful for Andrea’s organizational skills, attention to detail, and calm demeanor – especially when it comes to insurance and scheduling changes! In her spare time, Andrea likes reading mystery novels, listening to music, watching movies (even if she’s seen them a dozen times), and spending time with friends and family. She also loves Mexican food and a hot cup of coffee (or two) on the patio.

Jenifer is from Paoli, Indiana. She moved to Crestwood in 2016 and joined the Walmart team as a cashier and customer service representative before being recruited to the vision center in 2017. Jenifer joined Derby City Eye Care in 2018 and feels blessed to have such a wonderful, fun, and fulfilling job. Every day she looks forward to meeting new people and seeing old friends when they come to the office for their exams. Dr. Fowler appreciates Jenifer’s communication, her collaborative skills, and her enthusiasm when interacting with patients – especially first-time contact lens wearers! When she is not at the office, Jenifer spends time homeschooling her three kids (along with her husband and in-laws), making soap, and hanging out with her family. She also enjoys curling up with a good book next to her dog, Marley, or her cats, Baby, Tiger, Rae, and Mischief.
